Disability Studies is a rich inter-disciplinary field. Students who pursue the 25-credit minor will critically engage the place of disability and the value of disabled people within their home disciplines. This minor helps students build connections between theory and practice, emphasizing the history, culture, and contributions of people with disabilities. Students who complete the Disability Studies minor will be well suited to become leaders within their communities as well as change-makers in their fields.

Disability Studies is also an optional area of study for students pursuing an Interdisciplinary Studies major.

Grade Requirements: this minor requires a a minimum grade >C- for all DSST courses and a combined GPA >2.
