During this time of economic uncertainty, Patrick Jones, Executive Director of EWU’s Institute for Public Policy & Economic Analysis, has shared his insights on the pandemic’s impacts on the local, regional and state economy. Jones recently sat down with Spokane Talks discuss these important issues, and offered some insight into the road ahead.

Nearly 20 years after graduating from EWU and traveling the world as an international educator, Ciara Johnson ’02 is ready to begin giving back to the university that means so much to her.

Eastern Washington University celebrated Giving Joy Day on Friday, asking the community to give to critical student needs and to share joy in other ways. The campus community did not disappoint!

Anna Dvorak, an assistant professor of geography at EWU, died in a climbing accident in Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains in 2015. A memorial fund in Anna’s honor will help students continue her love of geography.

Once fully funded, these scholarships will benefit deserving EWU students year after year.
