In Memoriam: Chuck Roper

Eastern Washington University is saddened to report the death of retiree Chuck Roper, on July 10, 2025.

Roper retired in September 2024 after 47 years of service in EWU’s Office of the Controller.  We are grateful for his years of service and extend our condolences to his friends and family.

Roper’s funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the Garfield Christian Fellowship, 303 3rd St., Garfield, Washington.
