In the EWU Libraries and Learning Commons, we are creating opportunities for Eastern students and faculty to display creative and scholarly works. These displays, celebrating achievement and creativity, enable a variety of EWU programs exposure to larger audiences while lending to further richness to our campus and community life.
The featured event for this season, The Women of Bauhaus, an Encore Presentation, is on display daily in the JFK Alcove through January 9, 2020. This student-curated exhibition, highlighting the extraordinary contributions of women in the development of modern art and design, is a celebration of creativity and innovation against all odds. The exhibit, initially installed as part of Wunderbar Together – German Campus Week: One Hundred Years of Bauhaus, is made possible by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, EWU College of Arts, Letters, and Education, with exhibit support provided by EWU Libraries and Learning Commons.
