Need a room for a club event or meeting? Consider using M17 located adjacent to the JFK Lobby. M17 can be reserved by students via EagleSync (students) or faculty/staff via  25Live.

  • Medium group (5 or more people): L20*

JFK U08 – the Calm Study Room, featuring alternative seating, work surface, and lighting options, is accessible to EWU students, faculty and staff via reservation. To make your reservation, use the QR code affixed to the door of U08.

  • Reservations are forfeit/lost if the room is left vacant or unclaimed ten minutes into the allotted time.
  • Unattended items are placed in lost and found at the Circulation Desk.
  • Rooms are not soundproof; Leave No Trace, Clean Your Space and other library policies apply.

JFK Library features walk up (first-come, first-served) and reservable study rooms for EWU student use.

    • To reserve rooms, scan the QR code affixed to doors of reservable rooms. (Reservations require an EWU ID/password.)
    • Rooms are designated for group study, not committee meetings, classes, or lectures.
    • Groups have priority; lone users may be asked to vacate.
    • Have questions, or need reservation assistance? Visit the main level Circulation Desk, email circulation@ewu.edu or call 509.359.7888.

Table Tents and Filming in JFK

Table tents must be free standing; paper flyers or slips cannot be substituted and will be subject to recycling. 

  • Reservation periods up to three weeks in length, for EWU affiliated groups only.
  • Tents must be approved through the PUB Admin Office. See EWU’s Posting Policy.
  • Group or department is responsible for printing and placing the tents. When the reservation is finished tents will be recycled by JFK staff.
  • JFK table count: 42 on the upper level, 68 on the main level and 44 on the lower level.

When requesting, please specify: 1) your EWU student group or department, 2) week requested, 3) your contact information.

Filming (video recording and still photography) on campus requires assessment and approval from EWU’s office of Risk, Compliance & Procurement.
