Fellowship Program

Apply to Serve as an Honors Fellow

The Honors Program provides funds for the Honors Fellow Program. This program will offer selected faculty a $1,000 stipend for:

  • Proposing a new Honors Course
  • Participating in at least one professional development activity during three quarters with the Honors Fellows in the program
  • Teaching the proposed course

Five faculty members will be selected as Honors Fellows and recognized for their contributions to creating an Honors Community of Learning and Practice. If you are interested, please fill out our brief application below. Applications will close on October 31, 2025.

All proposals must integrate Community Engagement/Experiential Learning as a course component and demonstrate how the courses address the Honors Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs).

Honors Courses may fulfill BACRs, Global, or Diversity requirements. These courses will have to be approved by CPAC and GEC. Please refer to the General Education requirements for further information.

Provide a brief statement about how your teaching maximizes student engagement. (max. 250 words)
Explain the modality of your proposed course: In person, hybrid, online.
Please identify if the course fits in any of the categories: Breadth Area, Global Studies, or Diversity. If so, please describe how the course meets the area criteria, and how it satisfies the SLOs selected for the course. Please see: General Education requirements
