It will take approximately 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-sm red\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/nzgzYs7chE4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Orientation Video<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Canvas Orientation<\/strong>: If you or your parent(s)\/guardian(s) would like more information, you\u2019re welcome to review this Canvas orientation course. <strong>Note:<\/strong> This is an open-enrollment Canvas course. You do not need EWU credentials to access the course. Please avoid using Microsoft Edge as the default browser when opening Canvas.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-sm red\" href=\"https:\/\/canvas.ewu.edu\/courses\/1214864\">Canvas Orientation<\/a><\/p>\n","apply_steps_link":""},{"apply_steps_step_title":"Complete Application","apply_steps_copy":"<p>New students must complete the application. Students who applied and earned credit for any classes in the 2024-2025 Academic School Year, <strong>DO NOT<\/strong> need to reapply. To prevent duplicate applications, please only submit <strong>one<\/strong> application per student.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>How to start the application<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Please use a personal email, not your high school email address to apply \u2014 the high school firewall will block emails from us.<\/li>\n<li>Create an account on the application page (for first time users).<\/li>\n<li>When completing the application, select <strong>EWU in the High School<\/strong> in the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<li>Please ensure correct name, date of birth, and email address, and check your spam or junk folder for your confirmation code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Completing the application<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Once your account is created, you must activate the application through email.<\/li>\n<li>After the application is completed, you will receive your EWU ID number and User Name within three to five days to the email provided in the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you enter information incorrectly or if you don\u2019t receive the email within one week, please contact our office at <a href=\"mailto:cihs@ewu.edu\">cihs@ewu.edu<\/a> or <a href=\"tel:509-359-6187\">509.359.6187<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/apply.ewu.edu\/apply\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Application<\/a><\/p>\n","apply_steps_link":""},{"apply_steps_step_title":"Confirm Your Registration","apply_steps_copy":"<p>After completing the online application (and the Self-Pay Contract for private school students), confirm with your high school instructor that your name appears on the course registration roster. Names not on the roster will not receive credit nor will retroactive credit be given at a future date. Please double-check with your instructor that you are on the course roster in order to receive credit.<\/p>\n","apply_steps_link":""},{"apply_steps_step_title":"Upon Completion of Course","apply_steps_copy":"<p>Upon completion of the course, you will be asked to complete a final course evaluation. You may also want to order your final transcripts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Evaluation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thoughtful evaluations help high school instructors and Eastern Washington University critically evaluate and assess the course curriculum delivered to program participants.
