About Online Accelerated Students<\/h2>\n

As an online accelerated student, you are in faster-paced session periods, and different registration and billing deadlines apply to you. Due to the fast-paced nature of your courses, this webpage is intended to help get you quickly set up with the unique information that applies to you.<\/p>\n

Online accelerated courses are not self-paced courses. They are synchronous to the session periods of the academic year. If you are a new online accelerated student, please self-enroll in the Online Accelerated Graduate Student Orientation course in canvas to find all the policy and procedural steps you’ll need to know during your quick academic journey!<\/p>\n

To ensure that students, university support units, staff and faculty are fully prepared to start strong in the online accelerated program term,\u00a0requests to move start terms backwards filed after the application deadline date at 9pm PDT\/12am EST cannot be processed<\/strong>. (Example: if you apply to start in summer, you cannot move backwards to start in spring.) If the term you intend to start in is not listed in your application drop down selections, you have missed the deadline time for that start date. The Pattern of an Online Accelerated Academic Year<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s important to understand each quarter contains two 6-week sessions except for summer which only contains one 6-week session. This is different from the in-person academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t

Graduate Transfer Credit Eligibility and Approval Process<\/b><\/h2>\n

To transfer credit from another institution toward your EWU graduate degree or certificate, please use the following steps:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Communicate with your program contact about filling out the Graduate Transfer Credit Eligibility form and ask them what documentation they will require for the transfer. Typically this includes the syllabus of the course(s) you hope to transfer in.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If you did not submit the relevant transcript from the institution for the credits you would like to transfer to EWU at the time of admission, you will need to submit an official transcript to Eastern Washington University. Without a transcript of these credits on file, we are unable to process your transfer request and this can delay your processing time.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Communicate with your program contact and complete this PDF form together.\u00a0<\/span>\n
