The EWU Office of Alumni Relations spread joy to over 10 Eagle-owned businesses during the last week of March through Friday, April 1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One business in particular, Holm Made Toffee Co. had recently launched a new Birthday Cake flavor. In celebration of Eastern\u2019s 139th birthday, Randi took it upon herself to create a new page on her website for the week leading up to Giving Joy Day.\u00a0 She made custom Giving Joy Day labels for her Birthday Cake and Original flavored toffee and stated she would be donating 13.9% of total orders made that week back to the EagleOn initiative.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Randi shared her Eastern story; how she, a first-generation college student may not be where she is today as an entrepreneur and small business owner without scholarships. Her support of the EagleOn initiative during Giving Joy Day was inspirational.
