The Impact: Ashleigh is Learning to Program Lifesaving Robots

Right now, EWU students need help to cover tuition, new technologies and living expenses.

To make ends meet, Ashleigh Sanford, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, lives with her mom and works for a local fabrication company—while maintaining a 3.75 GPA. Scholarship support keeps her going.

“My scholarship means so much to me because they recognize my integrity and the 110 percent I put into school. It makes it that much more worth doing all of the hard work.” –Ashleigh Sanford

Ashleigh’s career goal is to program cooperative robots—like the ones that assist medical professionals with precise surgeries. Your support means more students, like Ashleigh, reach their goals.

The Impact: Lorren is Preparing for Med School

When you are counted in the Krumble Challenge, you will help students like Lorren Morgan complete their education and start a career. Lorren earned one of the Krumble Foundation’s inaugural Soaring Eagle Scholarships because of his grit and hard work.

Lorren has been pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor since high school. Now a senior in the Biology Department’s Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Program, he’s making the Dean’s List every quarter while completing multiple rigorous lab-based science classes. He is thankful for the financial assistance so that he can focus on preparing for medical school.

“Thank you for your confidence in me. I work hard to achieve my academic goals and I will make you proud.”
–Lorren Morgan

Lorren aspires to become an ophthalmologist and hopes to conduct vision retainment research—an ambitious goal that might not have been possible without the help of donors like you.
