About
Bo Idsardi is an assistant professor of biology education and the director of the science education programs at Eastern Washington University. He studies K-12 science teacher preparation and undergraduate STEM teaching and learning. Recent projects including the effectiveness of scaling up the flipped classroom approach, student perspectives of online STEM courses during Covid-19, using the 5E instructional model to promote active learning in undergraduate STEM courses, and the congruence between undergraduate STEM instructors’ teaching practices and their conceptions of how students learn.
