The program seeks to increase the number of K-12 teachers with strong STEM content knowledge who teach in high-need school districts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alumni panel<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><em>What do Physics do? <\/em>A panel of EWU Physics alumni will share with our undergraduate students, and faculty, their experiences and perspectives as physicists after college. Tea and pastries will be served.<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Spacetime coordinates:\n<ul>\n<li>ISC 009.<\/li>\n<li>Friday June 3rd at 2 PM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Outreach to the community<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Jason Stoke and Andr\u00e9s Aragoneses,<\/em> together with\u00a0 <em>Jessica Allen and Javier Ochoa-Reparaz (from Biology), <\/em>will be giving a presentation about the Science of Star Wars: <em>&#8220;May the Science be with you!&#8221;<\/em> .\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Spacetime coordinates:\n<ul>\n<li>Golden Handle Project in downtown Spokane (111 S.
