Certificate in User Experience Design

About

A certificate in User Experience (UX) design provides students and working professionals with a multidisciplinary approach to UX design in a digital environment. You’ll learn techniques for composing well-crafted and intentional interactions between users and products or technology. Design real-world projects that incorporate research, experimentation and play.

The UX Certificate can be earned alongside the Bachelor of Design degree, or on its own. The certificate program will help you further develop your design skills, become more audience-centered and think more in-depth about solutions. Some of the skills you’ll develop include:

  • User-Centered Design (UCD)
  • Developing experiences and artifacts for people
  • Rapid prototyping
  • Modern user interface patterns
  • Responsive web design

Note: to receive the certificate, students must complete each of the required courses.

​Grade Requirements: students must earn a GPA ≥2.5 in certificate coursework.
