The Animation & Motion Design Certificate provides an applied understanding of animation principles and techniques, storytelling, storyboarding, and animatics. With this certificate, you’ll be prepared to effectively communicate ideas and create engaging narratives using space, time and motion.

Animation and Motion Design Certificate, Undergraduate

The Animation and Motion Design Certificate provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to create engaging and effective animations for various media platforms. Students learn the principles of animation, motion graphics, and visual storytelling, as well as gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software and tools. This certificate prepares students for careers in animation, motion design, and related fields.

Note: to receive the certificate, students must successfully complete each of the required courses.

Grade Requirements: students must earn a GPA ≥2.5 in certificate coursework.

Students who successfully earn an Animation and Motion Design Certificate from EWU should be able to:
