Eastern\u2019s own Natalie Green has been named the new Assistant Secretary, Child Welfare Field Operations for Washington\u2019s Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). \u00a0Natalie graduated from Eastern\u2019s Master of Social Work part-time program in Everett. Natalie has over 20 years of service working with DCYF and Washington\u2019s most vulnerable citizens. The importance of this role cannot be overstated, Natalie is the leader of Washington\u2019s public child welfare system, the system in place to protect children from abuse and neglect. Natalie\u2019s experience, commitment, and passion for the safety of children and child welfare make her a perfect fit for this critical role.
