Social Emotional Learning for Educational Equity

About

In the Social Emotional Learning for Educational Equity (SEL-EE) Graduate Certificate, you’ll be prepared to teach SEL and learn how to lead and support school-wide SEL implementation within multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). You’ll complete year-long workshops in SEL while taking foundation courses that focus on educational inequity, the science of stress and coping and advanced consultation and teaming practices. This graduate certificate is designed for working educational professionals who wish to develop expertise in Transformative SEL such as:

  • Teachers
  • School psychologists
  • School and mental health counselors
  • Administrators
  • Related service providers
    • Physical therapists
    • Occupational therapists
    • Speech and language therapists

Courses are offered Thursday evenings, 6:00-8:00 pm, online.

  • Duration: as few as 10 months
  • Credit Hours: 17
  • Tuition: as low as $6,000

Admissions Requirements    

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university    
  • A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 from a regionally accredited, bachelor’s or master’s degree-bearing institution.
