EWU Students honor alum while raising awareness<\/p>\n
On June 12 at 8am, EWU\u2019s Exercise Science Club is hosting a 5k walk\/run on the red turf in order to raise awareness and funds to fight domestic violence in our community.<\/p>\n
The event is being held in honor of Sativa Transue, an Exercise Science alumni who lost her life while on vacation to domestic violence a year ago.\u00a0 Funds raised by the event will be used in the community to help domestic violence survivors.<\/p>\n
