The conference is in its sixth year and is intended to bridge the gap between health care and health policy. Industry experts, state policymakers, and diverse health care community leaders from across the state attended to connect, network, and discuss important health care activity taking place. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/test-www.ewu.edu\/chsph\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/02\/41751581_2171122549843273_5357394964961558528_n-300x225-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"student provides information at the event table\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-76148\" \/>Presentations covered topics from across the health care spectrum, including the policy landscape, key topics in Washington state health care, assessing opportunities and setbacks in reform, and value, financing, and costs in health care. \u201cThe conference was a great opportunity to discuss and learn about the opportunities and challenges facing eastern Washington\u2019s health care system,\u201d said MPH student Britney Van Winkle. MPH students are eager to attend next year\u2019s State of Reform Conference and represent the field of public health.
