If you’re thinking about a career in therapeutic recreation, you might want to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)\u2014a nationally recognized credential through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).<\/p>\n

After finishing the TR minor coursework, you\u2019ll need to complete a 560-hour internship with a licensed CTRS to be eligible for the national certification exam.<\/p>\n
