The HCAD degree does not require a minor and there is no foreign language requirement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The HCAD courses are offered only once a year and are designed to be taken in a sequential order from the fall of the junior year through the spring of the senior year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">*You must complete an in-person 200-hour internship in your community during the spring quarter of your senior year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>For entry into the program:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once you are admitted to EWU, the <a href=\"https:\/\/inside.ewu.edu\/advising\/\">Center for Academic Advising &amp; Retention (CAAR)<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will help<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> you to declare your major and will assign you a designated professional advisor until graduation.
