Taylor of Essence Magazine that is designed to increase the reading comprehension, STEM competencies, and critical thinking skills of middle school students.<\/p>\n
As an executive, Dr. Anidi worked for over 25 years with large multi-site and specialty healthcare organizations, helping these organizations automate, streamline, and lead their healthcare labor management with the objective to provide analytical-based recommendations centered around healthcare finance, productivity initiatives, and ultimately helping cut cost and increase revenue.<\/p>\n
As a Business and Healthcare Consultant, Dr. Anidi provides knowledge in multiple functional revenue cycle areas which include patient access, registration \/ patient financial services, physician and clinical decision support, vendor relations, analytics, managed care contracting, and onboarding.<\/p>\n
Dr. Anidi received her bachelor\u2019s degree in Mass Communications. She holds an MBA degree in Healthcare Management and a Doctorate Degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine \u2013 Health Sciences with a specialty in Global Health.<\/p>\n
Dr. Anidi has presented at American Public Health Association\u2019s Annual Conference and Exposition, on the \u201cEffect of Performing Warm-up and Cool-down Exercises and Its Significance When Working Out\u201d. Dr. Shavonda Devereaux\u00a0is a dedicated, passionate, and goal driven medical and public health leader with over 16 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in Public Health policy and practice, Executive Healthcare Management\/Operations, and medical education. Dr. Devereaux\u2019s focus has been on systematic strategic planning, contract negotiation, policy development, and project management. Dr. Devereaux is an expert in the facilitation and delivery of classroom and online teaching of environmental threats, epidemiology, leadership policies, community health, medical terminology, and public health issues. Dr. Devereaux joined the Eastern Washington University team with the goal of mentoring and shaping future and current public health leaders.<\/p>\n
Dr. Devereaux has been employed with the Department of Defense for 23 years where she has served in senior executive governmental positions that has a direct impact on the health, safety, and welfare for Armed Forces Service Members, Retirees, and the surrounding community. She recently served on the executive board of a 28-bed health care facility (with expansion capabilities) in rural Louisiana which employs over 680 medical professionals across 23 clinical departments while remaining fiscally solvent in the management of a $63 million dollar budget. She oversaw the safe and quality health care for over 18,000 U.S. Army Soldiers, Retirees, and their families and was responsible for managing the daily operations of the medical facility. Her facility was notably the recipient of the 2022 Leapfrog Award for one of thirteen Best Rural Hospitals in the United States and the only hospital in the state of Louisiana.<\/p>\n
Dr. Devereaux received her Doctorate in Public Health (concentration in Epidemiology) from Walden University, a Master of Science in Public Health from Trident University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Trident University. Dr. Devereaux has a keen interest in the clinical epidemiology of cardiovascular and kidney disease and continues to research its complex etiology to improve treatment strategies.<\/p>\n
She is married to a former U.S. Army retired Soldier and has three beautiful children (two sons and one
