At EWU, our interdisciplinary approach brings together many academic disciplines to promote a broad intellectual framework. Solving the challenges emerging in public health requires examining external influences such as the physical and social environment, as well as internal factors like personal behaviors and the genetic makeup that impacts the status of an individual&#8217;s health. These determinants of health define the role of public health in the healthcare delivery system. Through successful completion of the EWU MPH, students effectively demonstrate meeting all CEPH accreditation requirements for an MPH generalist degree.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The Master of Public Health Program at EWU is currently on probationary status with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). We respect CEPH&#8217;s decision and resolution of the deficiency is the highest priority at EWU. We are fully engaged in ongoing efforts toward full compliance with accreditation standards.<br \/>\nThe accreditation review addressed only the Master of Public Health degree.
