Open to all majors, this interdisciplinary program combines study abroad experiences, intercultural communication, and global coursework to prepare you for success in an interconnected world.

You’ll learn to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and connect global issues to your field of study, giving you the confidence and competencies that employers look for in today’s global economy.

Global Engagement Minor

The Global Engagement Minor offers students a dynamic blend of theoretical and experiential learning. It is open to students of all majors and prepares graduates to thrive in diverse international environments. The program integrates global perspectives into the students’ field of study, enhancing their personal and academic growth. Through unique pre- and post-study abroad courses and hands-on learning opportunities, students gain practical skills to navigate a globally connected world. The program enhances students’ personal and academic growth and equips them with the global competencies and real-world experience employers value, positioning them for career success in today’s interconnected economy.

Grade Requirement: Students must have a GPA of ≥2.5 by the time they register for ABBR courses.
