What Is PRSSA?

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a professional development organization open to all students interested in career-readiness, regardless of their major.

Our goal is simple: to give students the skills, professional experiences, and networking opportunities they need to succeed and stand out in a competitive job market.

Members participate in hands-on workshops, attend events with industry professionals, go on field trips to visit and meet with local employers, and gain valuable experience organizing and promoting events.

Students also have the opportunity to make new friends and develop their leadership skills by serving on the PRSSA executive board. Bonus: Members of EWU PRSSA will receive a special honor cord at graduation.

From crafting resumes and practicing interviewing to developing portfolios and planning events, PRSSA helps students grow both personally and professionally.
