Submit One Official Transcript
For EWU Graduate School Applications:
Most EWU graduate programs only require one transcript. A degree-bearing transcript (with a bachelor’s or master’s degree) and at least two year’s worth of credits on it is required. If not, please submit transcripts with your last 2 years’ worth of credits.
- Go to the transcript website for the prior university where you earned your highest degree (bachelor’s or master’s).
- Order an electronic, official transcript (If the prior college only has mail as an option, expect them to take 4-6 weeks for them to arrive.)
- Have it sent to Eastern Washington University
Music and EDS in School Psychology applicants must provide an official transcript from all prior colleges attended. For questions, please review the program application instructions on the program website.
For Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Communication Sciences & Disorders Applicants: all official transcripts should be submitted directly to PTCAS, OTCAS, or CSDCAS.
Submit a Course-by-Course Transcript Evaluation
Submit an official course-by-course transcript evaluation through World Education Services or another credential evaluation service recognized by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
- A list of agencies can be found at naces.org. The credential evaluation service must provide a chronological list of coursework. Graduates of accredited U.S. universities are not required to submit a credential evaluation.
- Degree summary or degree verification options do not provide a chronological list of coursework and is therefore not sufficient.
Submit an Official English Proficiency Test Score
Request your scores from Duolingo, TOEFL, IELT or PTE Academic be sent directly to EWU Graduate Programs from the institution facilitating the examination. When we receive a notification from these institutions, we collect all available scores.

- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university are not required to submit English language test scores.
- Or provide proof an official course-by-course transcript evaluation that you received a degree from an institution in one of the following countries:
