Maria Reyna serves as the Director of Orientation and Family Programs. She holds two degrees from Eastern Washington University, including a Bachelor’s of Art in Social Work as well as a Master of Arts in Social Work. Maria will begin her 18th year as an EWU employee in the Fall of 2020 and enjoys spending time with her 17 year old son Xavier.

Megan Kuster began her role as the Assistant Director of Orientation and Family Programs in August of 2021. As a Michigan native, Megan received her Bachelor’s of Art in Communication with a minor in Leadership from Hope College in Holland, MI. She then went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Student Affairs at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. With four total years of Residence Life experience (both at Saint Mary’s and at Northern Michigan University), Megan has seen it all! This is her first role outside of Housing and she’s excited to welcome the newest Eagles to EWU! In her free time, Megan enjoys cycling, hiking, yoga, playing pickle ball, reading, and spending time with her husband, Cody.
