To ensure this, applicants are selected based on the current needs of our returning board members to create a variety of opinions, experiences, and demographics.\u00a0 Applicants are reviewed based on the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in leading and supporting organizations and teams.<\/li>\n<li>Past involvement and volunteerism.<\/li>\n<li>Vision and passion for engaging alumni at various points in their professional and personal life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A member of the Board of Directors is appointed to a three-year term position based on demonstrated involvement, support, and commitment to EWU and the EWUAA.\u00a0 In accepting, an individual agrees to fulfill all responsibilities associated with board membership.\u00a0 Employees of EWU are ineligible. Applications have closed.
